Just Add Garlic & Olive Oil

How about this for tossing with pasta for a quick supper?
Fresh peas, two types of baby zucchini, broccoli, sugar snaps, chopped lemony herbs and garlic scapes along with brown rice spaghetti was really tough to put down… NOT! This still life with paring knife is a current example of the delightful garden-fresh blessings growing in Lightning Creek Gardens!

I think this would fit in very nicely in a sweet magazine I have recently discovered, called MaryJanesFarm. It’s kind of like Martha Stewart gone country. Gone hard-workin’ leather’n’lace. Perhaps even gone Wild & Weedy! Check it out.

I realize it’s been over a month since I last posted. Guess I’ve been busy! Local book sales have been pretty good, for a tiny town in the North Idaho mountains. I am so grateful to the local store (the Monarch Market) and eateries (Mom’s and the Squeeze Inn) for showing off The Wild & Weedy Apothecary in pretty baskets for all to see. I hope they all know how much I appreciate it.

I hope you leave a comment when you visit The Wild & Weedy Kitchen blog… I want to hear what’s up in your neck of the woods.
